Cookprint is the impact we make on the planet when we cook. When we prepare a meal, we consume heat or fuel (for the fridge, freezer and gas stove), we use plastic packaging, later tossed in the trash (or recycling, hopefully), we run water to wash tomatoes or rinse the knife used to cut meat or vegetables. This whole chain of resources (and waste) is our cookprint, and we'd better start watching it closely.
