 Drivers of Chevy Aveo, Mitsubishi Eclipse, and Volkswagen Jetta, beware! According to Healthystuff.org, those cars (and others) have the highest concentrations of several hazardous chemicals inside them.
We all know that cars are a considerable source of air pollution, but various parts of the car themselves, such as the steering wheel, dashboard, armrests and carpet, release chemicals that we end up breathing, and that can pose long-term health concerns. Among those chemicals are seemingly ubiquitous phthalates, bromine (used in flame retardants), lead and heavy metals.
