What's In Your Cleaning Products? E-mail
Tuesday, 24 March 2009 14:11

Green Cleaning ProductsMany household products are harmful to our health and our environment. And most of them don’t list (all) their ingredients, so consumers don’t really know what’s in them.

One way to find out, though, is to visit the Us Department of Health and Humans Sciences household product database. Although not as thorough as Skin Deep for cosmetics, this database will nonetheless put you on the right track to find out more about the safety (or toxicity) of household products by names, manufacturers and ingredients. Pull out a few of your products and check them out. To make healthier, greener and more economical household products yourself, please visit our DIY category.
