JustLiveGreener was officially founded in 2009 in Los Angeles, thanks to a baby girl:  her mommy looked into healthy foods and beauty products to use while pregnant, and found that so many she was consuming were harmful to both of them and the environment. The initial disgust led to discouragement which led in turn to a deeply rooted desire to live more simply, waste less, and educate others about sustainable and eco-friendly ways to live. We, at JLG, always keep in mind that our decisions and actions, however small they might seem, have repercussions on many environmental and social levels, and we strive to protect and nurture our environment in an eco-responsible way.

We also strongly believe that we all can take good care of our planet. It starts with the desire to do so, the commitment and the knowledge of how to go about it. And that's what we are about: informing you in a straight forward and succinct manner, so you know what to do and how to be green.
